The system contact (14) is activated or disconnected using a pre-determined procedure or effect, using a sensor to detect the presence of moisture at the system contact and disconnect the contact when a given moisture level is exceeded. An Independent claim is also included for a method of activating or disconnecting a system contact in an electronic device using this arrangement.
