CCD (5) with sensor elements (6) are arranged in image plane, so that spatial frequency of sensor elements exceed maximum image frequency. A calculator (24) has operating values at zero spatial frequency and at frequency greater than maximum value and has peak value between operating values. Recorded image is filtered by digital filter relative to 2D inverse Fourier transform of filter function. An Independent claim is also included for digital image recording and processing method.
