enzimáico method for obtaining (R) -2-hydroxy-4-phenylbutanoate enantiomerically pure acetate using biocatalysts in enantioselectively hydrolysing lipases inmovilizadas.Consiste with immobilized lipases, the racemic mixture (R, S) -2-hydroxy-4-phenylbutanoate ethyl ((R, S) -HPBE) of formula (I) to give (R) -2-hydroxy-4-phenyl butanoate ((R) -HPBE) of formula (II) and (S) -2 -hydroxy-4-feniltutanoico of formula (III) .The compound of formula (II) is an important intermediate inthe synthesis of angiotensin converting enzyme laangiotensina. The procedure is carried out in aqueous media under mild conditions of pH and temperature and using biocatalysts immobilized lipases obtained by adsorption of the enzymes, at very low ionic strength on hydrophilic supports chemically modified with a dense layer of hydrophobic groups well defined .
