New biocatalysts immobilized lipases. New biocatalysts immobilized lipase by adsorption on hydrophilic supports chemically coated with a dense layer of highly hydrophobic groups. The preparation of these new derivatives immobilized lipase comprising hydrophilic activating supports with adequate internal morphology with hydrophobic groups defined structure; and adsorption, at very low ionic strength, extracts of different commercial lipases these supports custom manufactured. Derivatives obtained show excellent activity and stability in the absence of new interfaces, in some cases more than 100 times higher than the corresponding soluble enzymes activity. These derivatives are purified and hyperactivated lipases useful as industrial catalysts and enantio regioselective hydrolysis of pharmaceutical intermediates especially when these processes are carried out in aqueous media.
