Fourier Transformer optical signals in the time domain, based on Fiber gratings. It refers to a device that takes as input (3) an optical signal and delivery time, as an output (4), in the time domain, the Fourier transform of said input signal. The known device consists of two optical components: a diffraction grating (1) printed on the core of an optical fiber with linear variation of the grating period and an optical circulator (2). The device design is based on the analogy between the reflection time signals in the diffraction grating and the diffraction spatial spatial signal in the Fraunhofer conditions. The invention may be implemented using other components dispersive behavior like, instead of the diffraction grating. It can be applied in systems processing optical signals and systems temporary control, switching or routing photonic signals.
