Dose of sterile cryogenic liquid is dispensed at the point of use (47) from the claimed installation. Cryogenic liquid (11) is stored in a buffer tank (1) and transported by dispensing means (19) continuously or discontinuously. The reservoir (1) has an external casing (37) and internal casing (36) which is welded in such a way as to form joints with total penetration and no overlapping.
