The calculation of liquid mean pumped volume flow comprises simultaneous metering, to provide data in the form of a numerical series as a function of the time. A pump in a pumping chamber, and a counter, with a depth gauge determining the depth of the liquid in the pumping chamber, are used in the metering. EMBODIMENT - A calculation formula is applied to the data obtained.
