The device comprises a drill string having a first end through which is transmitted the rotation to the drill string and the axial force on the tool (3) during drilling and a second end to which is fixed the tool (3). The device comprises azimuth adjusting means for the trajec-tory of the drilling tool consisting of a tubular body (10) having a support blade (11) in radial sail-binding, rotatably mounted on the drill string (2) and a remotely operable joining means for fixing in rotation of the drill string (2) and the tubular body (10) in its active position. In the inactive position of the means relies junction, the drill string (2) is free to rotate inside the tubular body which is held rotationally fixed in the borehole by the support blade (11). The support blade (11) is placed in the borehole in an angular orien-tation for the azimuth adjustment in the desired direction.
