Disclosed are compositions comprising, (a) a propylenepolymer material grafted in the solid state with (i) styrenicpolymer and further comprising (ii) ungrafted styrenicpolymer, and, optionally (iii) a vinyl comonomer and when theoptional vinyl comonomer is used, (iv) styrenic-vinylcopolymer; and (b) glass fibers treated with an organic silanecompound; and optionally (c) at least one rubber polymercomponent comprising (1) from about 0 to 100% of at least oneof (i) monoalkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene blockcopolymers, (ii) hydrogenated products of (i), or (iii)mixtures of (i) and (ii); and (2) from about 100 to 0% of anolefin copolymer rubber; and (d) a coupling agent for theglass fibers and propylene polymer material plus said rubberpolymer. The compositions exhibit a preferred balance ofstiffness and impact strength at moderate cost and exhibitexcellent surface qualities, making them particularly usefulin molded parts.
