ARRANGEMENT IN A SHIP FOR LOADING/UNLOADING OF A FLOWABLE MEDIUM IN OPEN SEA

An arrangement in a vessel forloading or unloading of a flowable medium,especially oil, the vessel (1) being providedwith a submerged downwardly open receivingspace (3) for receiving and securing asubmarine buoy (2) which is anchored to thesea bed (4) and is coupled to at least onetransfer line (6) for medium. The receivingspace (3) is arranged at a submerged locationthe outer side of the hull of the vesseland has an at least partly downwards essentiallyconically enlarged shape, for matingwith a buoy (2) of a corresponding outershape. In connection with the receivingspace (3) here is provided a service shaft (9)connecting the receiving space (3) with thedeck (8) of the vessel. The receiving space(3) preferably is formed from a module builtinto the bow portion of the vessel (1).
