摘要

In an electronic kaleidoscopic apparatus, akaleidoscopic image forming unit extracts an initial imagefragment of a specified region on the basis of imageinformation picked up by a video camera. In response to theshape of the initial image fragment, the kaleidoscopic imageforming unit regards the initial image fragment as anoriginal image and repeatedly inverts/duplicates an imagesignal in this shape for every obtained reflection pattern,thereby forming a kaleidoscopic image and outputting thesame to a display unit.
