A system and method for customizing and ordering an officialpostal product. The system includes a central authorizing computer system forcommunicating with at least one remote ordering system over a communicationnetwork. The central authorizing computer system having a computer program forforwarding information to the at least one remote ordering system for allowingcustomizing of an image for use in an official postal product from the atleast oneremote ordering system.
