The invention relates to an installation for a competitive game with ice hockey stick and ice hockey puck. Pucks (1) are passed to a player (40) in a predetermined order by means of a computer-controlled circuit via a conveyor component (2), a puck magazine (30) and a device (46) that passes the pucks. The objective is for the player to target a target that is displayed by a computer (60) on a target mat (15) with as fast and precise a shot as possible. The data of every shot are detected by means of photoelectric barriers (48, 49) and a camera (50) and are evaluated by a computer program. It is essential that the player (40) continuously receives passes by the closed puck circuit. The player's performance is evaluated according to realistic and game-oriented criteria and is stored in a global ranking list that is open to anyone and that is constantly updated. At the same time, the inventive system provides for the first time a means for performing a systematic training to automate the best shot possible using the rules of th e game or special training programs.
