The present invention relates to catalyst systems, processes for making suchcatalysts, intermediates for such catalysts, and olefin polymerizationprocesses using such catalysts wherein such catalyst includes a componentrepresented by formula (IA) wherein R and R' independently represent ahydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted, branched or unbranchedhydrocarbyl or organosilyl radical; R1, R2, and R3 independently represent ahydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted, branched or unbranchedhydrocarbyl radical; M is a group IIIB, IVB, VB, VIB, VIIB or VIII transitionmetal; T independently represents a univalent anionic ligand such as ahydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituded hydrocarbyl, halogeno,aryloxido, arylorganosilyl, alkylorganosilyl, amido, arylamido, phosphido, orarylphosphido group, or two T groups taken together represent an alkylidene ora cyclometallated hydrocarbyl bidendate ligand; L independently represents asigma donor stabilizing ligand; X, which is optional, represents a relativelyweakly coordinated anion; and a = 0 to 4 inclusive, b = 0 to 4 inclusive,provided a+b = 4.
