The invention refers to the use of a lacrophyl preparation containinglysozyme, tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane, if desired other lacrophylcomponents, preferably ascorbic acid and/or citric acid and/or ethylenediamine-tetraacetic acid, in the rest distilled water for the dissolution of an activesubstance being insoluble or only slightly soluble in water or physiologicalsaline, for preparing eye-drops, and/or in case of eye-drops containing anactive substance to adjust optionally an active substance medium appropriateto the composition of the native tear and for the microbiological protectionof the medium.
