EMERGENCY AND BRAKE LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES

The system for controlling the emergency and brake lights of vehicles comprises two deceleration sensors with different activation thresholds and connected to the power supply circuits of the brake lights and emergency lights in such a way that when the sensor with the lower threshold is activated due to a sudden braking action, the latter causes during a fixed period of time the alternating lighting of the brake lights and of the emergency lights and, when the higher threshold sensor is also activated, for example because of a head-on collision, the alternating lighting is produced through the energy generated by a battery which is independent of the vehicle and is held on until the contact key is turned to the off position.
