According to the invention, an internal combustion engine with a rotor and blades includes a body with suction and exhaust nozzles, a combustion chamber, an output shaft, two unequally rotating blade sets, which comprise a blade sealing unit, and a blade oscillating mechanism, which ensures kinematic connection between the output shaft and blade sets and contains gears mounted on the body and on at least one pinion shaft of the mechanism. Working chambers of variable volume are formed in the body, whereby said rooms comprise compression and expansion areas which depend on the steering angle of the output shaft. The engine is characterized by various embodiments of gas connections with the working chambers. The design of the blade oscillating mechanism, the blade sealing unit and the support bearing of the blade oscillating mechanism makes it possible to reduce the weight and the dimensions of the engine, to optimize the consumption thereof, to improve the environmental characteristics thereof and to increase the reliability and the lifespan of said engine.
