The invention concerns a device and a method for sound reproduction (1) of properties of particles, preferably elementary ionising particles, derived from cosmic radiation. The device comprises a system for spatial detection (11, 12) of particles in several detection points and a sound transmission set (36, 37) coupled with the detection system, capable of transmitting in a plurality of transmission points sounds corresponding in space and time to the properties of the detected particles. The sound transmission set advantageously transmits sounds which differ according to the properties of the detected particles, advantageously in real time relative to the detection of the particles.
