The invention concerns a novel means of public transport by noiseless electric bus, without electrochemical battery, on multiple routes provided that said buses (1) travel in contact with a succession of powering points connected to the grid system (6) provided with two electrical reserves one fixed to the ground (7) and the other borne by the mobile vehicle (3) of such high power that the duration of cant between said two reserves is so short that it can be allowed for during stops and passages or such that it can be considered to be operating continuously.
