SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION METHOD OF SOIL CATION EXCHANGE CAPACITY USING ADSORPTION OF COPPER ION BY SOIL

The present invention relates to method for rapidly measuring the soil cation exchange capacity by using copper adsorption and spectrophotometer. This method comprises the steps of adsorbing copper solution on negative charge of soil and quantitatively measuring the concentration of non-adsorbed copper ion by using the spectrophotometer. Rapid, simple and precise analytical method is provided in the present invention as compared with conventional method in which a great deal of expensive reagents causing water contamination is used and analytical procedure is so complicated. Furthermore, lots of merits or effects including cost-reduction in the present invention are also presented.
