摘要

A semiconductor laser having orienting output of equilateral triangular optic microresonant consists of equilateral triangular optic resonant with output waveguide. It is constituted by flat waveguide which include lower cladding layer, active layer and upper cladding layer. The external region of equilateral triangular are etched to lower cladding layer or substrate, but region of equilateral triangular which do not be etched become resonant cavity, the edge of triangular become reflecting mirror. A semiconductor laser and array are formed edge light emitting having light output of directivity in the corner or edge of the triangular which connecting or coupling with output waveguide. If output waveguide intersected to the incline making output light turning 90°, then we can obtain output of light surface emitting, therefore the semiconductor laser and array be made light surface emitting. The semiconductor laser and array of multi-wave can be made by the equilateral triangular optic micro-resonant of different size.
