Electricity supply for the drive mechanism of a switch in DC-railwaynetworks, especially of section switches

The power supply taps the voltage from line sections (I,II) on both sides of a track isolating switch (STR) and feeds each voltages to a contactor (S1,S2) that switches the voltage to a static converter (WR) in the on state, whereby the converter output drives the switch. The contactors are connected together to form a priority circuit so that when voltage is applied to the first contactor the line from the associated contact line section to the second contactor is interrupted by a switch contact.
