Realtime interactive multimedia education system and method in online environment

PURPOSE: An online interactive remote education system and method using a multimedia in real time are provided to store the questions from students in a database server, and offer an automatic answer in a natural language searching engine of an artificial intelligence type, and an open picture discussion about a selected answer under the control of an intermediate control system of an intelligence type. CONSTITUTION: A trainee system(30) and a lecturer system(20) include voice input and output devices(21),(31) and picture input and output devices(22),(32). The systems(20),(30) are connected to a lecture-dedicated server(10). An intermediate control system(40) controls the server(10) and the systems(20),(30). A multimedia server(80) stores the contents of a lecture. A database server(70) accumulates the questions of trainees and the answers of lecturers. A natural language searching system(50) searches the contents of the questions in the database server(70). An individual picture server(60) processes the picture information inputted from the trainees. The lecturer system(20) further includes an electronic board(23) and a lecture program(24).
