PURPOSE: The system and the method for buying and managing a pet on the internet are provided to buy the pet cheaply and easily via the internet, and to manage the pet after the purchase of the pet to be convenient. CONSTITUTION: A server system(20) includes a database server(21) that stores a web page and the information of a pet list and the opened and unopened information of the pet. A web server(22) establishes the communication between the server system(20) and a client system(10). A data search server(23) searches the information of the pet stored in a database in response to the search request information transmitted from the client system(10). A fee payment server(24) checks the fee paid by the buyer of the pet who uses the client system(10).
