MEDICINE FOR AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE CONTAINING SOLUBLE FAS LIGAND AS EFFECTIVE INGREDIENTS

PURPOSE: A medicine for autoimmune disease containing soluble Fas ligand as effective ingredients is provided, which kills memory T lymphocytes representing Fas that can induce various immune diseases using soluble Fas ligand, so can be used to treat various immune diseases such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of soluble Fas ligand comprises: binding CD5 signal sequence to 34th amino acid located on the down side of transmembrane region of human Fas ligand; culturing transformated clones in non-serum medium(CHO-S-SFM II); and collecting supernatant as soluble Fas ligand. The medicine for autoimmune disease containing soluble Fas ligand as effective ingredients can be prepared in the form of injection type, for oral type. In a mouse experiment, the soluble Fas ligand decreases representation of Fas in CD4+ CD45RBlo Fas+ cells.
