PURPOSE: A method for evaluating an abnormal groundwater head of an observation hole around an underground high-pressure gas storage hollow is provided to improve and expand the watertightness diagnosis as an essential technique for maintaining underground storage facilities by evaluating abnormalities of groundwater head values observed via respective observation holes by using a numerical model which represents reactions between sluice data. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating an abnormal groundwater head of an observation hole around an underground high-pressure gas storage hollow includes the steps of analyzing a change amount of hydrologic time series data by using monitoring data for evaluating observation groundwater head(S10), setting a numerical model per each observation hole by the time series data analysis(S11,S12), estimating the groundwater head values of the observation holes when a hollow pressure and an amount of rainfall conditions are input to the set numerical model(S13), and diagnosing and evaluating watertightness and an irrigation geological system around the observation holes by comparing the estimated groundwater head value and a really observed groundwater head value(S14,S15).
