PURPOSE: A method of imposing a fee on every menu is provided to determine a fee of every menu at one telephone number and to variably impose an information use fee according to information contents. CONSTITUTION: A method of imposing a fee on every menu comprises connecting a telephone to an automatic response system(ARS)(4) of an information provider, wherein a use time of the telephone, being connected to a communication company, is registered at a telephone information charger(3). The ARS enables the information provider to select professional or needed information of different types, and the selected information is sent to the information user via the information charger and the communication company. The information user(1) selects desired information, whose fee is charged by the information charger.
