METHOD OF ADJUSTING IMAGE QUALITY IN SUBTITLE MODE OF IMAGE RECEIVING PROCESSOR

PURPOSE: A method of adjusting image quality in a subtitle mode of an image receiving processor is provided to maintain the image quality in a subtitle mode using a general image quality adjusting key. CONSTITUTION: Whether the image receiving processor is operated in a teletext mode for displaying a teletext character is determined by a central processing unit. If the image receiving processor is operated in the teletext mode, whether the teletext mode is a subtitle mode is determined by the central processing unit. The teletext character and an image signal is adjusted using a general image quality adjusting key and then the character and the image are displayed if the teletext mode is the subtitle mode. The teletext character and the image signal are adjusted to the image quality set by the general image quality adjusting key, if the teletext mode is not the subtitle mode. And the image signal is adjusted to the image quality set by the general image quality adjusting key, if the image receiving processor is operated in the teletext mode in the initial step.
