PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing pressure loss of a cyclone dust collector is provided to make an eddy current movement laminar when the air sucked into a cyclone body is discharged via an air discharge path. CONSTITUTION: A pressure reduction apparatus comprises: a cyclone body(100); an air suction path(110) connected to the cyclone body and for sucking air or foreign materials; an air discharge path(120) for discharging the sucked air; a foreign material discharge hole(100a) for discharging the foreign materials separated from air in the cyclone body; and a laminar-flow unit(140) placed on an axial line formed by the air discharge path and for laminar-flow an eddy current by removing a whirling force of the air discharged via the air discharge path. Air and foreign materials are sucked into the cyclone body and centrifugally rotated along the inner wall of the cyclone body. The air collecting to the lower center portion of the cyclone body forms a discharge stream and then flows out via the discharge path. The foreign materials heavier than air is rotated centrifugally and collected in a dust collection box(130). Fine dust contained in the discharged air collides against a cross blade(140) and springs out toward the inner wall of the cyclone body. The fine dust is discharged into the dust collection box while jumping on the foreign materials. Accordingly, the flow of the discharged air stream becomes smooth while preponderance of the fine dust into the discharged air stream is avoided. Therefore, pure air is discharged out of the cyclone body.
