DEVICE FOR CORRECTING IMAGE DISTORTION OF DISPLAYER OF OPTICAL PROJECTION TYPE

PURPOSE: A device for correcting image distortion of a displayer of optical projection type is provided to correct distortion of image by installing a lens of wedge type. Therefore, distinct image can be gained. CONSTITUTION: A displayer of optical projection type comprises a light source(12), a PBS(polarizing beam splitter)(14), a reflecting board(13), a phase difference board(18), an LCD(15), a projecting lens(16) and a device for correcting image distortion(20). The light source(12) generates light. The PBS(14) divides light generated by the light source(12) into P wave and S wave, passes P wave, and reflects S wave. The reflecting board(13) reflects S wave reflected from the PBS(14). The phase difference board(18) transforms S wave reflected from the reflecting board(13) to P wave. The LCD(15) generates image. The projecting lens(16) projects light of polarizing beam generated from the LCD(15) to a screen(17). The device for correcting image distortion(20) is installed at front of the displayer of optical projection type(10), and corrects distortion of light emitted from the projection lens(16).
