PURPOSE: A system for real time music lessons and a method for managing music information in the system are provided to make real time music lessons of various instruments possible by comparing the music information input through a microphone or an image scanner with a real music book. CONSTITUTION: The system for real time music lessons and a method for managing music information in the system include a music information input portion(11), an A/D converting portion(12), a signal managing portion(13), a DPRAM(14), a music information managing portion(15), a displaying portion(16). The music information input portion(11) inputs and conveys the acoustic information of the analog type and the information of the scanned music book. The A/D converting portion(12) converts the acoustic information of the analog type into the acoustic information of the digital type. The signal managing portion(13) carries out the function of pretreatment detecting only the instrumental sound through the frequency analysis about the digital acoustic information. The DPRAM(14) stores the acoustic information of PCM type pretreated by the signal managing portion(13). The music information managing portion(15) stores the music information in the data base and conveys it to the displaying portion(16). The displaying portion(16) displays the information about an instrument, a tone, a beat, the structure of the music book, the layout, a musical note etc. by using the music signals.
