MICROORGANISM PSEUDOMONAS FLUORESCENS BIOVAR 1 PFB111 AND INSECTICIDES CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided is a microorganism Pseudomonas fluorescens biovar 1 PFB111 producing an antibacterial material against Streptomyces scabies. And insecticides containing the microorganism is provided for the prevention and treatment of potato scab in plants. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Pseudomonas fluorescens biovar 1 PFB111 KFCC-11100 is isolated by the following steps of: inoculating the soil samples on two different media and screening microorganisms from colonies being capable of growing up on media; inoculating the selected microorganisms on the plate medium containing an appropriate amount of PDA and NA and incubating at 25 to 30 deg.C; spraying the suspended fermented culture of potato Streptomyces scabies on the plate medium; selecting microorganism forming circle where potato Streptomyces scabies cannot grow up. The insecticides for preventing potato scab contains 5 to 15 wt. part of microorganism-containing skim milk suspension, 0.5 to 10 wt. part of corn extract, 0.5 to 5 wt. part of NB, 0.5 to 10 wt. part of glycerol and 40 to 80 wt. part of rice hulls.
