The present invention is directed to thermodynamically stable modifications of ramatlovan, the active compounds of formula (I). Thermodynamically stable forms are prepared by melting the metastable form followed by recrystallization or inoculating a solution of the metastable active compound with seed crystals in a thermodynamically stable form. Thermodynamically stable active compounds can be used as agents for asthma.
