TUNNEL BORING MACHINE HAVING LOWER ROCK PIECE REMOVING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A tunnel boring machine is provided to prevent the upward boring of the machine while a bypass pipe supplies some of mud conveying water to the outside of the boring machine and to disperse and remove the earthy materials or rock pieces settled to the bottom of the machine. CONSTITUTION: In a lower rock piece removing device, mud conveying piping(161) is installed in the inside of a tail body(120) to exhaust crushed earthy materials and rocks. Bypass piping(10) is diverged from the mud conveying piping. The end of the bypass pipe passes through the lower part of a front body(110) installed in the rear area of a partition wall(114), so that some of mud conveying water is exhausted to the outside through the bypass piping. Therefore, the mud conveying water supplied to the lower part of the front body through the bypass piping disperses and removes the earthy materials and rocks settled to the bottom before the earthy materials and rocks are consolidated by being settled to the bottom.
