PACKING PLASTIC FILM CAPABLE OF MAINTAINING DEGREE OF FRESHNESS BY EXCELLENT MOISTURE PERMEABILITY AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

PURPOSE: A plastic film for packing fruits and vegetables having excellent moisture permeability and mechanical physical properties by adding silicon oxide to synthetic resin is provided, which can maintain the degree of freshness when used for packing fruits, vegetables and meat, and has excellent mechanical physical properties enough for a packing film. CONSTITUTION: This plastic film for packing fruits and vegetables comprises 70 to 90% by weight of synthetic resin, 30 to 10% by weight of diatomaceous earth having a silicon oxide content of more than 50% and a particle size of 500 to 800mesh. The diatomaceous earth is obtained by sintering natural diatomaceous earth at 600 to 800deg.C under oxidation atmosphere for 4 to 10hr and pulverized.
