PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for splitting flows are provided to display markup data contents in predetermined screens and to supply only one kind of input mode for each screen without any confusion or input problem. CONSTITUTION: The parts of markup data contents are automatically detected, and each part is made correspond to one format of a user input mode, and each part is differently displayed on the screen of a display so that one format of the input mode can be supplied to a user related with each screen.
