METHOD FOR TRANSFORMING SIGNALING WIRELESS LINK PROTOCOL OF INTERNATIONAL MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS-2000

PURPOSE: A method for transforming signaling wireless link protocol of IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000) is provided to promptly detect the damage of a message by transmitting an SRLP frame segment to which a sequence number bit indicating a transmission order is added. CONSTITUTION: A process performs a padding 8-bits on a service data unit received from an LAC(Link Access Control) sub-layer(ST11). The process adds an LEN field representing the length of the padding SDU to the beginning thereof and attaches a CRC field on the SDU including the LEN(ST12,ST13). An SRLP PDU with the CRC field is divided into a plurality of MAC PDUs(ST14). The process attaches orderly a message sequence number an each of the MAC PDUs such that an SEQ field is added. The process transmits the MAC PDUs to a physical later by adding an SOF bit indicating the first bit of a frame to the MAC PDUs.
