PURPOSE: A process for preparing the titled wire rope capable of naturally forming a triangle pin by plastic deformation of a plastic coating layer during crossing outer strands in a voice by installing a heater and an oil coating tank on a traveling route of a core rope is provided, which produces a wire rope having increased service life, ensures operation stability and improves the reliability of products. CONSTITUTION: This process comprises the steps of supplying a core rope(12) coated with plastic to a voice(17) of a wire stranding machine; softening a plastic coating layer by preheating with a heater during the movement of a core rope; coating grease maintained at a specified temperature or more on the surface of the plastic coating layer; and braiding a wire rope(18) with the deformation of the plastic coating layer by crossing of outer strands on the circumference of the core rope.
