PURPOSE: A SOHO subscriber managing method in a charge-free call service is provided to improve a quality of termination charging service by connecting a call with a destination number of a subscriber only when the call is from a specific origination number, a call is originated from a specific area or a call which is aware of a user authentication number previously determined by the subscriber and charging the fee to the termination subscriber. CONSTITUTION: A termination service request call for a SOHO subscriber is received(S21). A service control system checks whether the inputted subscriber has been normally subscribed(S22). If the subscriber has not been subscribed, the service control system informs a service performing exchanger of the service processing failure(S23). If the subscriber is normal subscriber, it is checked whether the subscriber is a SOHO subscriber. If the subscriber is a SOHO subscriber, it is checked what types of service the subscriber has been subscribed(S24). If the subscriber has been subscriber for a use number registration method or a user number selecting method, it is determined whether the subscriber has been subscribed for a select call restriction or allowance service(S25). If the subscriber has not been file for the select call restriction and allowance service, an authentication is performed to know whether information stored in a subscriber database previously stored by the subscriber according to each service type and the information inputted from the service user(S26). If the subscriber has been subscribed for the selection call restriction and allowance service, it is determined whether the currently inputted origination number belongs to the restricted origination number(S27). If it belongs to the restriction origination number, a service failure is informed. If the subscriber has been subscribed for a password input method(S24), a user authentication number is requested for the service user(S28). After the authentification is completed, it is determined whether the authentication has been successfully performed(S29). If the authentication has been successfully performed, a number translation is performed for the destination number, and the translation result and a call connection state request are transmitted to the service performing exchanger(S30).
