METHOD FOR PROVIDING VERY HIGH SPEED PRIVATE LINE SERVICE USING TIME STAMP ALGORITHM WITH FUNCTIONS OF SETTING SERVICE CHARACTERISTIC AND VARIABLE SPEED

PURPOSE: A method for providing very high speed private line service using time stamp algorithm with functions of setting service characteristic and variable speed is provided to improve the utilization of the source with low cost by providing the private line service of ATM technique. CONSTITUTION: A service use time stamp(15) is made on the basis of the service utilization status data with respect to all subscribers who are using the very high speed private line service. After the service use time stamp is read and if the value is within the time limit for allocating the source, the corresponding subscriber is notified that the connection source requested is allocated and is able to use the service requested during the period of use. If the value read out of the service use time stamp is within the service retreat or service return time, the service use bandwidth and the service connection of the corresponding subscriber are retreated.
