COMMUNICATION SERVICE SESSION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EMBODYING VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK SERVICE IN DATA COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A communication service management system and method for embodying a VPN(Virtual Private Network) service in a data communication network is provided to present an information model to embody a VPN(Virtual Private Network) of an FR-ATM integrated data communication network in order to offer the initialization and cancellation functions of a composite VPN service, the addition and deletion functions of VPN-NAP(Network Access Point), and the setup, modification and release functions of VPN-NFC(Network Flow Connection). CONSTITUTION: A network operator transfers the initialization and cancellation request of a VPN, the addition and deletion request of VPN-NAP and the addition, modification and release request of VPN-NFC to a VPN manager(103) of a communication session management system(102) through a subscription management system(101). The VPN manager(103) refers to a VPN information table(107), a subscriber information table(108), a network access point information table(105) and a network access point connection information table(106), confirms the status of a VPN number and VPN access points, and executes authentication for the requests. Then the VPN manager(103) incorporates information, related to the initialization and cancellation of a VPN, the addition and deletion of VPN-NAP, etc., in the VPN information table(107) and transfers the addition, modification and release request of VPN-NFC to an FR-ATM network management system(110) through a network management system interface(104).
