METHOD FOR HIERARCHICALLY REPRESENTING COMMUNICATION NETWORK TOPOLOGY BASED ON REPRESENTATION

PURPOSE: A method for hierarchically representing communication network topology based on representation is provided so that complicacy and density of a communication network can be efficiently systematically represented by simplifying the communication network topology. CONSTITUTION: A topology hierarchical type is decided in consideration of a kind and regional property of a communication network(301). Here, the topology hierarchical type includes an international hierarchy, a national hierarchy, a city hierarchy and a national history hierarchy. According to the topology hierarchical type, location information including location names, geographical coordinates and upper and lower layer location names is registered in a communication network management system(302). In regard to all nodes composing the communication network, node information including node names, node installation locations and node port standards is registered in the communication network management system(303). In regard to all links connected to the communication network, link information including link names, link capacities and both end node names is registered in the communication network management system(304).
