METHOD FOR MANAGING ASYMMETRIC DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LOOPS IN SUBSCRIBED TELEPHONE INSTALLATION AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for managing an asymmetric digital subscriber loops in a subscribed telephone installation and management system is provided to keep facility information in real time by defining a unified interface for inquiring facility information and constructing and updating the facility information in on-line. CONSTITUTION: The first interfacing unit receives a facility information inquiry-requesting message from a facility information management unit or a facility selection unit in the first step. The first interfacing unit connects to the second interfacing unit of a system for managing asymmetric digital subscriber loops and inquires a list of racks of every asymmetric digital subscriber loops in the second step. The first interfacing unit inquires information of every rack of each asymmetric digital subscriber loop in the third step. The first interfacing unit inquires information of all shelves of each rack in the fourth step. The first interfacing unit creates an inquiring result message and an inquiring content message to transmit the same to the facility information management unit or the facility selection unit in the fifth step.
