PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically processing a log-in on a web site are provided to enable a user to conveniently connect to a membership web site and to confirm a web mail by storing all sorts of information capable of using a web site in a portable personal information storage media, and by automatically processing a log-in every time the user visits the web site. CONSTITUTION: A user computer is connected to the Internet through a network connection process(101). A portable personal information storage media is connected to a USB port of the computer(103). A CPU checks whether a log-in driver is installed in the computer(105). In case that the log-in driver isn't installed, the user installs the log-in driver(107). The computer is connected to an authentication server(109). An authentication process is driven(111). In case that the authentication process is completed, the user performs a web surfing(113).
