PURPOSE: Provided is alternative fuel using waste thermoplastic resin such as waste vinyl and waste plastic, which has high efficiency and can be used in a boiler for heating and supplying hot water. CONSTITUTION: The alternative fuel is produced by a process comprising the steps of: grinding or cutting the waste thermoplastic resin; cleaning the ground or cut waste thermoplastic resin; drying the waste thermoplastic resin by using a hot blast heater; melting the waste thermoplastic resin in a melting furnace; transferring the molten thermoplastic resin to a high pressure extruder by using a pump and injecting hydrogen of 6 atmospheric pressure or lower and then injecting high pressure oxygen of 8 atmospheric pressure or higher to extrude liquid-phase thermoplastic resin containing hydrogen and oxygen; cooling the liquid-phase thermoplastic resin in the form of solid fiber yarn; cutting the solid-phase thermoplastic resin.
