The targeted gene delivery polymeric carrier compound is composed of poly (L-lysine) (PLL) conjugated with polyethylene glycol (PEG) and a targeting moiety (TM), wherein at least one free amino functional group of the PLL is substituted with PEG, At least one free amino functional group of the PLL is replaced by a TM, and the conjugated PLL contains at least 50% of the free amino functional groups.
