PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing high-functional environment friendly sound-proof concrete is provided to enable recycling of resources and preservation of nature as well as solving quality limit of conventional sound-proof concrete by using advanced materials. CONSTITUTION: Materials for sound-proof cement include detritus, recycled aggregate, reinforced fiber and polypropylene fiber. Detritus has a specific gravity of 2.64, a unit weight of 1,470kg/m3 and a diameter of 5 to 10mm. Recycled aggregate has a specific gravity of 2.43, a unit weight of 1,330kg/m3 and a diameter of 5 to 10mm. Reinforced fiber is end hook type, and has a length of 25 to 60mm, a diameter of 0.3 to 0.8mm, a specific gravity of 7.85 and a tensile strength of 4,500kgf/cm2. Polypropylene fiber is mesh-type fiber having a length of 30 to 60mm, a specific gravity of 0.91 and a tensile strength of 2,600kgf/cm2. Use of reinforced fiber and polypropylene fiber increases strength and toughness of sound-proof cement.
