TV Method for TV Program Recording Reservation using the Internet

PURPOSE: A method for providing a TV program reservation recording service using the Internet is provided to be capable of simply reserving the record of a TV program through the Internet as well as viewing the reserved TV program even in a remote location. CONSTITUTION: At first, a subscriber access to an Internet web server having Internet TV program information(EPG), subscriber ID information and IP address of a subscriber's recorder through an Internet access terminal. Then, the accessed subscriber is certified. Next, the accessed subscriber confirms TV program information in the web server and selects a desired TV program. Then, the selected TV program reservation recording information is transferred to a subscriber's recorder connected to the Internet using the IP address of the recorder confirmed by the registration information of the subscriber in the web server. Next, the reservation recording information is received by a scheduler of the recorder. Then, the recorder records the TV program at a predetermined time in accordance with the received reservation recording information. Finally, the recorded TV program is replayed through an output device when the replay is requested by the user.
