450 A cytochrome P450 gene highly expressed in the incompatible interaction

PURPOSE: A pepper cytochrome P450 gene(PepCYP) is provided, which is highly expressed by incompatible interaction between Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and peppers. CONSTITUTION: The pepper cytochrome P450 gene(PepCYP), which is expressed by incompatible interaction between Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and peppers, has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 which has 60% homology to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 and the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2. The pepper cytochrome P450 gene(PepCYP) gene expressed by incompatible interaction between plants and microorganisms is isolated from Colletotrichum gloeosporioides by using a mRNA differential display method and cDNA library screening method.
