/ Still image encoding/decoding method supporting backward channel for error resilient transmission

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for coding and decoding a still texture supporting a backward channel for error resilience is provided to transmit a data error, partition information of corresponding data, an error rate, and server node information to a server by installing a backward channel in a decoder. CONSTITUTION: An indicator for displaying a using state of a backward channel(40) according to each still texture object is confirmed from compressed still texture object information. A coding method of the still texture is confirmed from the compressed still texture object information. An error is checked in coding units according to the coding method. Backward information including an error in coding units and an identification number of the next receiving coding units is obtained. The backward information is transmitted through the backward channel(40).
